Nigeria win big at the 2012 Channel O Music Video Awards: D’banj, Brymo, Ice Prince & Davido scoop major awards

Nigerian hiphop acts, put up a spectacular performance at the Channel O Music Video Awards, carting away six awards from 13 nominations.

Paul and Peter Okoye a.k.a P-Square

D’Banj, P-Square, Davido, etc. were among the big winners of the night at the show hosted by Ice Prince
and
South African model, Bonang Matheba.

The Kokomaster won ‘Most Gifted Male Video of the Year’ for Oliver Twist, after failing to show up last year to receive his ‘Special Recognition’ award.

Paul and Peter Okoye of the P-Square fame, were named the ‘Most Gifted Group/Duo’ while Flavour and Tiwa Savage’s collabo, ‘Oyi’, won the ‘Most Gifted R&B Music Video of the Year’

Most Gifted AfroPop goes to BrymO, ‘ARA’, while Ice Prince Zamani,’ Superstar’, and Davido, ‘Dami duro’ won the ‘Most Gifted Hip Hop Video of the Year and ‘Most Gifted New Comer of the Year’ awards respectively.
